What is in the file
- A cover that proves itself. Your firm’s name, the date of issue and a reference. Anyone you show the file to (your compliance officer, an auditor, the regulator) can confirm it is genuine and current at veracentintelligence.co.uk/verify.
- An adviser summary. The platform’s register status, its client money permission, any requirements on its permissions and any disciplinary history, then the strongest finding on each core question: who holds client money and under what arrangement, and which legal entity you are actually dealing with.
- The full report, every finding printed with the passage it rests on and the source address, so anyone reviewing your file can check it without asking you.
- The FCA Register record as read on the day: every permission, the wording of every requirement, trading names and disciplinary history. This is the baseline your alerts are measured against.
- The questions to put to the platform. Everything public sources did not answer, listed so your own review covers it, rather than discovering the gap when someone asks.
- A review record page for your sign-off: who reviewed, the outcome, points raised with the platform and its answers, and the next review date.
- Twelve months of weekly register checks. We compare the platform’s FCA Register entry field by field every week and email you the same week anything changes: status, client money permission, permissions, requirements, trading names or disciplinary history. Each change is added to your file’s change log.
- A refreshed copy each quarter, so the copy in your records is never more than three months old.
Why pay, when the report is free?
The report is free to read and always will be. The file is the version you keep: dated, addressed to your firm, verifiable by anyone you show it to, with the register record, the open questions and your sign-off in one document, and someone watching the register for a year so it does not quietly go out of date. A printout of the free page carries none of that.

Independence. We are paid by the firms that use our reports, never by the platforms they cover. A platform cannot buy, edit or remove a report about itself.
A file is a record of what public sources state. It is not financial, investment or legal advice, not a rating, and not a recommendation to use or avoid any platform, and using it does not by itself meet any regulatory obligation.
